Rachel Bearn is a writer and content creator living in the Cotswold countryside with her husband and their retired racing greyhound, Pearl. From a small mid-terraced home, she cultivates a handmade, homegrown and slow life shaped by creativity, simplicity, and care for the natural world.
Living with chronic illness has deeply influenced how Rachel works and lives, leading her to embrace slower rhythms and intentional making. Her writing has appeared in Simply Sewing, The Simple Things, Woman Alive, and Simply Knitting. She shares her sewing and knitting online, appeared on Channel 4’s Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas in 2022, and is the author of A Year to Slow Down: A Christian Guide to Embracing Handmade & Homegrown.
