Michele Guinness

Michele Guinness is a writer, speaker, and former broadcaster, brought up in a practising Jewish family. She spent many years working in national and local BBC radio as a presenter, researcher, and writer, regularly contributing to Pause for Thought on BBC Radio 2. She also presented her own daily three-hour lunchtime programme on BBC local radio in Coventry.

A move to Lancashire marked a significant career shift into communications, where she worked on major public-sector initiatives, including senior roles within the NHS. After serving as Head of Communications for a Strategic Health Authority, she chose to focus fully on writing, training, and speaking. Michele contributes to a range of magazines and has written fourteen books, often shaped by her distinctive Jewish perspective and thoughtful engagement with faith, life, and culture.
