Few things shape the life of the church quite like the songs we sing together. In Hallelujah!: The History of Contemporary Worship in 100 Songs, Les Moir explores the stories behind one hundred worship songs that have helped shape modern church life.
Drawing on decades of experience as an author, mentor, A&R manager, record producer and musician, Les has worked alongside many influential worship leaders and songwriters, including Matt Redman, Martin Smith, Tim Hughes, Graham Kendrick and Noel and Tricia Richards. In this session he will share personal insights into how many of these songs came to be written and how they found their way into the worship of churches around the world.
In conversation with Les reflects on songs that have shaped the worship of millions, from How Great Thou Art to The Blessing. The session will conclude with an audience Q&A, followed by a book signing.
This session will be held in the main Church building. Bookings are subject to our terms and conditions.
