Stephen Burnhope is a writer, speaker, and church consultant with a passion for helping Christians read the Bible with clarity and depth. He holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Interpretation (with Distinction) from the London School of Theology and a PhD in Systematic Theology from King’s College London.

Stephen is the author of Atonement and the New Perspective and the highly praised Reading the Bible with Its Writers, a book that invites readers to engage with Scripture as a unified story shaped by key themes and literary genres. Known for making complex theology accessible and pastoral, Stephen encourages thoughtful engagement with the Bible that honours both its human and divine authorship.

He previously served as Senior Pastor of Aylesbury Vineyard Church in the UK and now supports churches in their teaching and leadership through consulting and training.
